Newly

I was the first growth marketer at Natively, before they rebranded to Newly. Their former co-founder, Alex, hired me to design the brand's positioning, publish blogs, and manage their socials.

Testimonial

“I really enjoyed working with Jigyasa. She was thoughtful, organized, and took the time to understand me and my goals before getting started. I especially appreciated how she approached the work with a clear process and genuine curiosity, which made the collaboration feel much more personalized.

She was proactive, reliable, and easy to work with throughout our time together. Communication was always smooth, and she handled things in a way that made my life easier.”

The problem

When Alex hired me, Newly (previously Natively) was still in its "building phase". The brand had no clear tagline to stand out, social media presence, or an SEO strategy.

They had no growth playbook to begin with, and that's what I had to build from scratch.

02

The approach

I started by spending the first few days researching their industry. Natively was a no-code native AI app building tool, and the industry has many prominent brands already. Lovable, Bubble, and Bolt are just a few big names.

We started with a paid 14-day trial, and here's everything I did:

  • I started with the brand tagline. After a few days of research, I came up with: "Test your mobile app idea in minutes with Natively."
  • Next, I took over Alex's X account and we gained 30.6K impressions, 2k engagements, and 70 followers in 12 days.
  • Lastly, I planned 8 blog topics (including informational and indirect, and brand guides users requested on Discord).

The work

Alex liked the way things turned out, and so we moved forward. On the social media front, Alex and his co-founder, Timothy, had many connections that I didn't know about, and that affected how their accounts were handled.

On the other end, they wanted me to focus more on the blogs. So, I approached it with two goals: build topic authority and deliver guides that users are requesting.

04

What happened

Over the course of four months, I published about 40 blogs on Natively (which they later rebranded to Newly). A few of our blogs ranked on Google's first page, and that was the win.
